Today...

This week we end has continued build up to the coronation, oops, sorry, inauguration of Barack Obama and the TV news could not be more giddy.  Do you remember DVD's being marketed and sold for any other President to be????  The media won't have to hide their liberalism for 4 more years...maybe 2 as the next campaign is just around the corner.  Based on the interviews I've listened to you can already hear a bit of 'hand-wringing' as not all is as perfect as the libs would like to see out of their savior.  It will be interesting to watch and listen for the next few years...especially if the Republicans actually find a Statesman somewhere across this great land.

Auto show is pretty much complete with nothing terribly big to learn other than the continued rumors of Chrysler's demise and that now GM predicts 10.5m vehicles for this year...they were foolish to estimate the 11-12m they had in their presentations.  Interesting article from detnews.com that I will post on my Daily Reads later...some Russian believes we are at the start of the next ice age...hmmm, remember the last time you left your cell phone in the car overnight in the bitter cold?  Seems to me that these batteries don't care much for cold weather...bet the pure electrics everyone is talking about would last oh, about a mile in our current 0 degrees!!  Again, with every action there is a reaction (some predictable, some not).

The Lions have a new coach...can't do worse the 0-16!!
